Franklin Adatsi leads the firm´s investment team, covering all aspects of the investment process from research to portfolio construction and risk management.

Prior to co-founding Purchil Investments, Franklin worked at Standard Life Investments (now Abrdn) as investment director in the Emerging Markets equities team.

Before that, Franklin was an investment analyst at Baillie Gifford where he gained an in-depth exposure to the Fixed Income credit markets, European equities and Global equities.

Franklin started his career in finance in 2004 working at Morgan Stanley as a fixed income research analyst.

Franklin holds an M.S. in Financial Economics from Oxford University and an honours double B.S. in Biology and Business Economics from Brown University (USA). He is a CFA charterholder.

Elena Fernandez is a co-founder and a director at Purchil Investments. In addition to actively managing an equity portfolio, she is responsible for overseeing the long-term direction of the firm.

Prior to this, Elena worked at Standard Life Investments (now Abrdn) as a UK equities portfolio manager, with a special research focus on Technology & Media sectors.

Elena started her career in finance working at Morgan Stanley as an investment banking financial analyst, specializing in real estate M&A.

Elena earned an honours B.A. in Business Economics and International Relations from Brown University (USA). She holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is the author of a financial literacy series for children.
